10 October 2025 - Reviewing use of Facebook. Too much clutter in timeline by things unrelated to my interests.

23 May 2025 - Made the "Hamburger" menu the main navigation for 'blog pages.

31 December 2024 - Final day of offering mobile disco events, having started these in 1965.

14 December 2024 - Switched to bulleted playlists.

15 November 2024 - Started using Bluesky alongside this 'blog and Facebook.

30 September 2024 - Suspended use of X.com. Playlists continue to be published on this 'blog.

17 May 2024 - Twitter.com ceased to exist as a domain. X.com has replaced it, but it's ambience has changed, so search started for an alternative.

27 December 2023 - Why "Portsmouth"? Why "Money"?

08 September 2022 - Today we learnt with sadness of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Consequently, normal programming has been suspended for a minimum of three days. Long Live The King!

19 May 2022 - Trevox's Folk Show and Teatime Show playlists moved to main Trevox 'blog at www.trevox.uk.

19 Mar 2021 - Scottish Government easing of Covid restrictions this week heralds a gradual return to live shows, with strict hygiene measures, locked doors and retricted studio access.

04 Jan 2021 - Following the Scottish Government's announcement this afternoon, live broadcasting was again suspended. The new strain of Covid was said to be up to 70% more transmittable and access to the studio was therefore severely restricted. Broadcasting continues using pre-select algorithms and programmes prepared at home.

23 Jun 2020 - Production of live programs in Argyll FM's studios resumed, but with limitations imposed by the Coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic.

03 Apr 2020 - The Coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic meant that manual production of live programs at Argyll FM had to be suspended. Broadcasting continues using the pre-select algorithms of OTSAVDJ.

19 Aug 2019 - Start of the photographic 'covers' series, mainly showing pictures of folk in various situations around the world.

17 Aug 2019 - End of the Wordcloud 'covers' series after a run of just over 18 months.

1 Jan 2018 - The daily shows began being posted on Mixcloud.com/trevox, using mainly Wordcloud images for 'covers'. Mixcloud makes the shows available to listen to at anytime, worldwide, following original broadcast at 1700 (UK time) on Argyll FM (106.5, 107.1 and 107.7).

2 Jul 2015 - Folk At Five started on this date, broadcast Monday to Saturday at 1700 replacing the Saturdays only Folk Show.

21 May 2015 - The first of 4 pilot shows of Folk At Five. Up to this date the folk show presented by Trevox on Argyll FM was just on Saturdays at 1900.

9 Dec 2014 - Unusually, we actually advertised a forthcoming event: the concert in Tarbert (Kintyre) by 7-piece folk band Skerryvore on 19 Dec 2014.

24 Dec 2011 - Christmas was recognised on the show for the first time with two songs from Maddy Prior & The Carnival Band. Subsequent nods to the season over the years include songs from: Chris Newman and Maire Ni Chathasaigh; Ange Hardy; James J Turner; Woodlands Music Group.

3 Jan 2009 - Folkshow playlists published at folkshow.blogspot.com for the first time. A computer failure on 31 Jan 2009 meant that we lost the playlist, and we were too late to recover the audio log to recreate it. :-(
