I doubt I'd have heard of this if I wasn't looking up stories mentioning my old school, Colchester Royal Grammar. The game doing the rounds involves a "friend" daring you to drink a pint in one go whilst filming it and then challenging another friend online. Some friend.
On Monday 10th February 2014 the NewsGazette reported that 20 year old Isaac Richardson died from a lethal cocktail of alcohol while taking part. Instead of beer, he substituted a cocktail of wine, whisky, vodka and lager. He began vomiting before collapsing unconscious in a London hotel room, was rushed to hospital but soon pronounced dead.
What a waste of life.
